Adirondack Brewery To Host Outdoor Beer Festival


Featuring All Barrel Aged Brews

January 15, 2015 – Lake George, NY – The Adirondack Brewery will be hosting their Annual Festival of Barrels on Saturday January 24th, from 2-5pm at 1 Canada Street in Lake George Village, just south of the Adirondack Pub & Brewery. 

Festival of Barrels, now in its 4th year, has become a “must-do” winter event in the North Country.  Combining blazing bonfires, live music and barrel aged beer; this outdoor event is perfect for the beer connoisseurs and those suffering from cabin fever.  Adirondack Brewery will be sampling 10 different barrel aged beers including Fat Scotsman aged in Makers Mark barrels, Imperial Red aged in Jim Beam barrels, Sour Blonde and Imperial Stout aged in Jack Daniels barrels.  There will also be an array of guest NYS breweries sampling their finest barrel aged brews; Saratoga Brewery, Keegan Ales, CH Evans Brewing Co., Other Half Brewery and Brooklyn Brewery.

Tickets cost $35 in advance and can be purchased at www.adkbrewery.com or in person at the Adirondack Pub & Brewery during business hours, day of event tickets are $40.  Tickets include over 20 barrel aged beers to sample, a wide variety of snacks, a souvenir tasting glass, live music and a totally unique outdoor winter experience.  Designated driver tickets are free and do not include beer sampling.

A few key points to remember if attending Festival of Barrels:
- This is a festival of big, strong beer.  Sample responsibly and bring a designated driver or plan ahead for a safe ride. 
- This is an outdoor event, there will be bonfires, but you should dress for winter in Lake George.  Snow pants, boots, hats and gloves are recommended. 
- The Adirondack Pub will be closed during festival hours. 
- Parking is permitted on Westbrook Rd, Sewell Street, Adirondack Pub parking lot and the Café Vero parking lot.
