A couple of notes from the Cortland Beer Company.
- CBC has moved into a new location at 16 Court Street, Cortland, NY 13045 is our new location.
- CBC has brought on a new partner in Tom Scheffler, who is a graduate of Cornell in agricultural. Tom will be seeing over daily brewing operations.
- The Cortland Beer Company will be a 15bbl production brewery when operations being, and will have a small retail room for growlers, bottles, and merchandise to start, with expansion planed over a three year period.
- The owners Tom, Terry, and Dan will each play an intricate roll in the operations of the brewery, Tom of course will be head brewer, Terry Vestal will be head of marketing and sales, and Dan Cleary will serve as operations manger / media contact of Cortland Beer Co.
Editor's Note: There is no one who is more happy about a beer company setting up in Cortland, NY. I frequently visit my alma matter and have always had to take the trip to Ithaca for good beer. I will be in Cortland each of the next two weeks and am hoping to sit down with Tom, Terry, or Dan.
