Get Real Presents To Host 2nd Annual aPORKALYPSE

Fest Will Showcase Chef Preparations of 10 Local Heritage Pigs Paired With Local Craft Brews

NEW YORK, February 6, 2013 - Get Real Presents announced that it will hold its 2^nd Annual aPORKalypse Now Pork & Craft Beer Festival at Alewife NYC on Saturday, March 2, 2013 as part of NYC Beer Week. It will be held at the Alewife NYC located at 5-14 51st Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101 http://alewifequeens.com. If last year’s fest was a prelude of what’s to come, then this will sure to be a celebration of all things pig like none other.  The event will include hogs prepared inventively by a group of celebrated NYC-based chefs in a multitude of ways. While guests are chowing down on all batches of snout-to-tail savory and salty goodness, they can sample some of the finest in craft beers from 20 different all-local brewers, including some rare cask ales and special homebrews.
