Celebrating the
Harvest with its first-ever Fall seasonal ale.
“Scythe
& Sickle is our foray into honoring the harvest season, taking the finest
malts and blending them seamlessly into a rich amber ale,” says Brew Master Phil
Leinhart. “Farming is about precision, timing and care, and this gently sweet
ale is our testament to the craft and care of farming.”
Brewed
with balance in mind, Scythe & Sickle boasts a smooth, creamy mouthfeel with
light toastiness. It is bright amber in color from the mixed malts and
delicately hopped to counter, rather than overpower, the malt profile. It is
available exclusively from September through November in all 43 states where
Ommegang is currently offered on draft and in 12-ounce bottles.
