NY Craft Beer Week Schedule: Pretty Things Beer and Ale Project

It is almost time for the fourth annual New York Craft Beer Week. While you can find a complete list of all of the events here, we here at TheFoamingHead will be posting blogs highlighting all of the events thats some of the better bars and breweries will be putting on. Our fourth preview takes a look at the upcoming events that will be put on by Pretty Things Beer &Ale Project.

Things start off before the week in a truly strange way w/the launch of People are Strange Wednesday's!! It's a weekly DJ night hosted by Rattle N Hum, 14 East 33rd Street New York, NY starting at 6pm featuring me, Bocky spinning strange records while Patrick pours our kooky,Pretty Beers!

We then help Pat from Smutty Nose and Jeremy at Schmaltz Brewing launch beer week in the Freakiest way possible at the 4th Annual Freaktoberfest Sept 16th 7pm at Southpaw, 125 5th Ave Brooklyn, NY. We'll pour Baby Tree and American Darling; madness and merriment will ensue!

Saturday afternoon finds at Grab Specialty Foods in Park Slope, Brooklyn 4pm-7pm. http://grabspecialtyfoods.com/
We'll be sampling Jack D'Or, St. Botolph's, Baby Tree, and Hedgerow Bitter. So come by, give us a hollar, and take home a growler!!

Then come to dinner with us at Jimmy's No. 43 Sept. 19th at 7pm for the Nano and Nomads Beer Dinner! We're honored to be back at this dynamic dinner amongst such amazing brewers and great friends!

We've also been chosen as the featured brewery during beer week at 2 of our other favorite bars in the city!

First, we'll be at Rye House, 11 West 17th Street New York, NY Sept. 21st at 6pm for our Pretty Things Good Time Beer Social featuring 4 of our beers on tap including our rustic saison, Fieldmouse's Farewell.

Sept 22nd sees us at Swift Hibernian Bar, 34 East 4th St # A New York at 6pm for yet another Good Time Beer Social. Anthony has held on to some choice surprise beers for this, so this is NOT TO BE MISSED!
