Inaugural Richmond County Craft Beer Fest Set

Staten Island, NY --- The 2011 Richmond County Craft Beer Fest (RCCBF) happens on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St.George, a meticulously kept stadium (home to the Staten Island Yankees) with a view of Manhattan and the New York City harbor as a backdrop.

RCCBF features craft breweries from the region and beyond. The event partners over two dozen top Staten Island chefs and food venues with featured craft brewers. RCCBF presents each guest with a souvenir sipping glass for a complimentary taste of over 60 beers.

Guests will enjoy music by two homegrown bands, The Bandulos and Stout. Working steampunk sculpture, “Brewing as Art” by home brewer Mark Zappasodi and metal sculptor Scott Van Campen, will be on display.

VIP ticket holders gain entrance to RCCBF at noon, one hour before the event opens to the general public. This pass gains access to climate controlled sky boxes at Richmond County Ballpark plus a special cheese sampling, first tastes of a dozen local home brewed beers and an official RCCBF event t-shirt. VIP passes cost $55 and are available for pre-purchase only. General admission passes cost $35 in advance, $40 the day of the event. RCCBF wraps up at 5 p.m.
